On Thursday (15/02/2024), SMA Negeri 3 Timang Gajah Bener Meriah visited BPS Bener Meriah Regency in the context of Geography Learning at school with the theme "Learning Population Data with BPS Bener Meriah."

BPS Bener Meriah was a resource in providing insight and views regarding population data as a form of implementation of the Merdeka - Merdeka Mengajar Curriculum.

On this occasion, material related to population was delivered directly by the Head of BPS Bener Meriah, Devi Indriastuti, SST, M.Sc. Then material related to dissemination and publication was delivered by Vera Paramita, SST and Amirah Balqis Safiruddin, S.Tr.Stat.

Apart from that, BPS Bener Meriah Regency also conveyed information regarding the duties and functions of BPS, the census carried out by BPS, and socialized the STIS Statistics Polytechnic.

The activity closed with a quiz session in the hope that students could understand the material that had been presented.
